The McNett/Gear Aid Sea Buff mask cleaner is a specially formulated dive mask pre-cleaner and slate cleaner that removes silicone residue. When a mask is manufactured, a thin layer of silicone residue remains on the glass. This causes it to fog during dives. Anti-fog will not work until the mask has been pre-cleaned. Anti-fog is designed to layer on the glass itself to prevent any moisture build up and if a layer of silicone is present, it will stop the anti-fog from working effectively. Gear Aid Sea Buff mask cleaner will help you remove this layer of residual silicone dust, pre treating your mask and making it ready for use.

How to use:

1. Place a dollop of solution on the inside of each glass lens and rub in circles with a finger (brushes may scratch and cause damage).
2. Scrub thoroughly and rinse well. Repeat 3-4 times as necessary.
3. Be sure to rinse the mask with fresh water after every use and store in cool place out of direct sunlight.

This solution can also be used to clean dive slates.
