Embark on a new adventure underwater with the Aqua Lung Leg3nd MBS Regulator. Designed to revolutionize the diving experience, this regulator combines the Venturi effect and inhalation effort adjustment in one intuitive rotation. Aqua Lung's Master Breathing System (MBS) allows divers to effortlessly control both factors, adapting to any depth, condition, or dive scenario.
The first stage of the Leg3nd MBS Regulator features the Auto Closure Device (ACD), which keeps the inlet shut when not connected to a cylinder valve. This preserves internal lubrication, keeps the inlet filter clean and dry, and ensures the regulator remains safer for elevated percentages of oxygen. Exceptional cold-water performance is achieved through the integration of three anti-freeze properties. The dry chamber isolates inner components, deep ribs enhance heat exchange, and the overmolded cap prevents ice formation on the external diaphragm.
The Leg3nd MBS Regulator's first stage is also auto-balanced, progressively increasing working pressure to maintain optimum breathing efforts at different depths. Ergonomically shaped DIN and YOKE screws with a bi-material "Soft Grip" surface offer better handling, even with cold hands. The channeled YOKE screw prevents water retention, while perfectly positioned HP and MP ports ensure optimal hose routing.
In the second stage, the Leg3nd MBS Regulator continues to impress with its advanced features. New front cover openings allow water to flow sideways, preventing freeflows in stronger currents. Radial openings further enhance performance by reducing peak inspiratory flow. The overmolded exhaust cover and air purge provide a comfortable and efficient experience, while the patented Comfobite mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue and enhances comfort.
The Leg3nd MBS Regulator also prioritizes convenience and sustainability. The detachable and reusable mouthpiece clamp allows for tool-free mouthpiece changes without creating plastic waste. An enlarged heat exchanger prevents freezing of the second stage mechanism, while the air channel deflector ensures even airflow during inhalation and reduces exhalation effort. The flexible and lightweight Aqua Flex hose with dual protectors adds to the overall durability and functionality of this exceptional regulator.
